Naples, Summer 2020. At Garibaldi station, I caught a fleeting vision of flowers and hair amidst the metal escalators, and snapped a quick photo. Ever since, this total stranger has kept me company as a little square of spring on my wall. Its colors brighten my gray days. So, I painted it.
